Heart failure (HF) is a progressively deteriorating condition characterized by fluctuating symptoms. Periodically, there may be an increase in symptoms and signs that necessitate hospitalization, leading to acute decompensated HF. Acute HF decompensations are periods that directly worsen the prognosis of the patient. On the other hand, the period immediately following discharge after an acute decompensation is when patients are at the highest risk (14). Patients are discharged after receiving education on standard lifestyle changes and medication use. Current guidelines recommend that these patients be scheduled for virtual/telephone or face-to-face follow-up visits at short intervals, such as 3.7 days or 2 weeks, in the early post-discharge period, followed by outpatient clinic visits every 3-6 months based on NYHA class (NYHA 2-3 patients every 3 months, NYHA 4 patients every month until stability is achieved, and NYHA 1 patients every 6 months after the initial 3 months). In traditional practice, these patients are scheduled for outpatient clinic follow-up visits in the first month after discharge. However, the post-pandemic developments have led these patients not to come to the hospital as frequently as recommended by American and European guidelines, but rather to stay at home, not even being able to attend routine visits. Recognizing this need, the Ministry of Health paved the way for virtual visits with a regulation published on February 10, 2022. However, the risks and benefits of virtual visits for patient prognosis are not yet clearly understood. This research aims to examine all recorded signs, symptoms, and biomarkers of heart failure patients during hospitalization and in the post-discharge period. It also seeks to investigate the impact of reminding patients of the education provided before discharge on their quality of life and the likelihood of readmission to the hospital.

The study aims to evaluate the effect of AI-based discharge training after acute decompensation of heart failure on the patient's quality of life and to examine the relationship between changes in voice and speech characteristics of patients and changes in hospitalization, discharge, and early post-discharge clinical status.
